Contract administration is an important part of seeking to ensure that construction works are completed effectively, on time, and within budget. We have a broad range of experience in helping our clients with successful project delivery from inception to completion. This includes projects within both the residential and commercial sectors. For example, reinstating a client’s property following loss or damage, as well as overseeing new build works.
We have considerable experience of assisting throughout all stages of the construction process. This includes drawing up detailed schedules of work, tendering the works package, evaluating the returns, and use of the JCT contracts documentation. Further necessary activities include overseeing the works on behalf of the client, liaising with the successful contractor, agreeing variations, compiling snagging information, certifying completion of the works, and agreeing the final account, as well as administering retention payments.
